Acknowledging the key role interculturalism plays in today’s pluralistic societies, I will argue that museum educational programs could be valued as stories about cultural heritages. This paper outlines a multilingual-focused educational approach that would allow heritage languages and scripts to be appreciated as important intangible heritage. It explores how multilingual education theory can improve the cultural diversity policies and practices of museums.
