The program aims to familiarize working teachers and graduates of the humanities and the social sciences with the educational potential in art museums and exhibition spaces, bringing them into contact with several aspects of modern and contemporary art and pointing to the possibilities they offer for the emotional, aesthetic and cognitive development of children.
The duration of the program is 30 hours and  addresses the following topics:
-The institution of the museum: a concise of art museums in Europe and Greece
-Introduction to the history of art – A diagram of modern Greek art
-General principles of education studies and teaching skills for the art curriculum
-Art and Education: theory, methods, techniques
-Applied educational programs and new technologies in art museums and exhibitions
-Planning, designing and realizing an educational program
-In situ training
The program can be attended by: primary and secondary education teachers and graduates of Humanities and Social Sciences Departments, Faculties of Philosophy, Education, Fine and Applied Arts.
