We are very proud that our post-grad student Athina Grammatikopoulou finally succeeded in getting the second place at the EMA competition, gaining a special recognition among 75+ master studies that were submitted to the European Museum Award (EMA). There was only one winner, Mrs Sofia Elamson.
We should also stress that one of the main positive remarks of the jury on Athina’s master study was the process “from the theoretical framework to methodology evaluation and experimental results, oftentimes by and large missing in the industry when developing such products (museum apps)”, something that represents a steady goal in our “Museology-Cultural Management” Program. The outcome of Athina’s master study was the creation of a social media tool for cultural learning in museums.
